In this high-stakes Joint Crisis Committee, delegates will be immersed in the final days of the Eastern Roman Empire as Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire launches his historic siege on Constantinople. Two chambers—Byzantine defenders and Ottoman invaders—will wage a battle of wits, strategy, and diplomacy as one of history’s most pivotal turning points unfolds in real time.

On one side, a once-mighty empire clings to its last breath, calling on foreign allies, holy relics, and ancient pride. On the other, a young, ambitious sultan seeks to carve his name into history and claim the city that bridges two worlds. Every move you make could shift the tide of war—through military cunning, political manipulation, or secret negotiations.
